Spherical Roller Thrust Bearing
The spherical roller thrust bearing is the same as the self-aligning roller bearing. The raceway surface of the seat ring is a sphere centered on the point that is consistent with the center axis of the bearing. This type of bearing’s roller is spherical. Therefore, it has automatic center function and is not very sensitive to the deflection of the coaxality and shaft.
Unlike other thrust bearings, the axial load capacity of spherical roller thrust bearing is very large, and it can withstand a number of radial loads at the same time, but the radial load should not exceed 55. 5% of the axial load.
Spherical roller thrust bearing is mainly used in oil drilling machine, iron making steel machine, hydraulic generator, vertical motor, ship propeller shaft, tower crane, extruder and so on.
