How the crusher bearings extend the working life

- May 18, 2023-

1. Correct use and maintenance. Properly operate and maintain the crusher in accordance with the requirements of the instruction manual, including regular lubricant changes, cleaning and maintenance, inspection and adjustment for normal use.

2. Careful installation. The installation requirements for crusher bearings are very strict. It requires correct installation clearance, correct installation of seals and correct installation of tightening devices.

3. Select the right lubricant. Crushers should use wear resistant lubricants and avoid using lubricants or greases with high additive content and excessive viscosity, which can prolong bearing life.

4. Avoid overloading and vibration. Avoid overloading and vibration during crusher operation to prevent premature bearing damage. Particularly with larger materials, consider reducing the speed at which they enter the crusher.

5. Prevent mud and sand from entering the bearings. Generally, stone washers should be placed at the bottom of the vibrating screen to prevent mud and sand from entering the crusher and to reduce mud and sand wear on the bearings.

6. Regular inspection and maintenance. Should regularly check the bearing use effect and condition, and timely replacement of maintenance parts including seals, bearing set, protection tube (sleeve), in order to protect the normal operation of the equipment.
