For angular contact ball bearings, due to structural reasons, a single bearing can only bear the load in one direction. Therefore, when installing to the shaft or bearing seat, it is very important to make the external load only be applied to the bearable load and not the other.
When assembling bearings, for back-to-back combination and face to face combination, the order of installing them into the shaft or bearing seat is different, please pay attention to it.
1. Back-to-back combination
① Install the bearing onto the shaft
② Tighten the axle nut and apply preload.
③ Install the shaft and bearing into the bearing seat and fix it with the gland.
2. Face to face combination
① Install the bearing into the bearing seat.
② Tighten the gland and apply preload.
③ Install the shaft into the bearing inner race and tighten the shaft nut.
