Bearings for rolling mills must withstand heavy loads and high-speed rotations as well as very severe operating environments. In various industries, they are used under severe conditions in every respect. Thus, the requirements for the bearing's material, structure, and accuracy are very strict. Tedin produces double-row tapered roller bearings, four-row tapered roller bearings, and four-row cylindrical roller bearings for hot strip mills and cold strip mills. For the Z-mill or Sendzimir mill, Tedin produces double row cylindrical roller bearings and three-row cylindrical roller bearings for backup rolls.

The tapered rollers of the double row and four-row tapered roller bearings are manufactured to such close dimensional and geometrical tolerances that they are practically identical. This provides optimal load distribution, reduces noise and vibration, and enables preload to be set more accurately.

1. Double Row Tapered Roller Bearings (TDI type and TDO type):
TDI double row tapered roller bearing has two outer rings (cups) and one double row inner ring with two roller and cage assemblies (double cone), usually with an outer ring spacer, and in a face-to-face arrangement. But, according to some occasions, Tedin also supplies TDI type double row tapered roller bearing without outer ring spacer. Tedin also supplies special surface treatment to double row tapered roller bearing's cup or cone according to customer's requirements.

2. Four Row Tapered Roller Bearings:
For four-row tapered roller bearings with seals, mainly used for work rolls or intermediate rolls, carry both radial load and axial load at a time. Adjustment of internal clearance is not required, facilitating handling. The open type is also available.

Four-row Cylindrical Roller Bearings are one of the main bearings for rolling mills, which consists of three kinds of structures: FC, FCD and FCDP types, which have compact structure, good rigidity and high radial load capacity, but can not take the axial load.
