Recently, TEDIN's new product, large-size precision tapered rollers φ103.15mm*140mm, used for wind turbine main bearings, were successfully rolled off the production line and passed the customer's quality tests. This tapered roller is the largest-size tapered roller produced by our company, and the weight is 8.2KG, used for 5MW wind power main shaft bearings.
The accuracy of the large-size tapered rollers can reach Grade 1 according to the GB standard, the profile has realized a logarithmic curve, and the end face runout is within 0.006mm, which is much higher than the Grade 0 according to the current national standard GB/T25767-2010. The convexity value deviation of each measurement point is controlled within ± 0.001mm, the SR deviation of the spherical base surface can be controlled within 2%, which accurately ensures the formation of sufficient hydrodynamic lubrication conditions between the roller and the bearing ribs. It improves the reliable guarantee for prolonging the service life of the bearing.
Due to the heavyweight and high precision of this large-size tapered roller, the R&D personnel overcomes the production difficulties in the process of tooling, testing, loading, and unloading during the development. Through the unremitting efforts of the team, this product finally fully meets the process standard requirements. The successful research and development of this super large tapered roller enriches the product varieties of tapered rollers and enhances the publicity of the TEDIN brand.
