Single row tapered roller bearings in Inch
The single row taper roller bearings in Inch dimensions are of separable design, which means the outer ring (cup) and the inner ring (cone) with rollers and cage assembly can be separately mounted. The two parts are interchangeable. There are the following types for standardized types of single row tapered roller bearings:
1.TS type single row tapered roller bearing: It is the most basic and most widely used type and is typically mounted in opposing pairs on a machine tool’s shaft.
2. TSF type single row tapered roller bearing (flange cup): The cup of TSF type is backed against flange face to housing to be through-bored.
3. TSU type single row tapered roller bearing (Unit bearing);
The matched pairs, generally metric-sized, in "O" back-to-back (designation DB) or "X" face-to-face (designation DF) arrangements, locate the shaft in both axial directions and the optimum axial play in the two bearings is adjusted and guaranteed after mounting. Taper roller bearings, clearance should be in the radial direction, but it is measured and adjusted in the axial direction.
Applications:
Tapered roller bearings are widely used in many industries: machine tool spindles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, railway vehicle gear reducer, heavy trucks, pithead trucks, rolling mill, wind turbines, TBM, etc.
