Reasons for heating of the slewing ring:

1. The lubricating oil temperature is too high

Because the bearing will produce some temperature during the working process, when the temperature is too high, the slewing bearing member will be seriously oxidized and emulsified when the water enters the ash, which will lose the lubrication effect and make the slewing ring Performance degradation or damage due to high temperature.

2. Poor lubrication

It is a common phenomenon that the lubricating oil (or grease) itself is poor in quality or the oil (grease) is not added in time during operation, which will cause the bearing temperature to rise or produce abnormal noise, so the quality of the grease used in the slewing ring should be guaranteed and checked regularly. Add an appropriate amount of grease.

3. The inspection and replacement are not timely

When the slewing ring is in use, if severe fatigue peeling, oxidation, corrosion, worn pits, cracks, or excessive noise cannot be adjusted, it needs to be replaced in time. If it is not replaced in time, it will cause the bearing It is possible for heat generation, abnormal noise, vibration, etc., to affect normal production, or even cause accidents, so be careful.

4. Lubricating grease is contaminated

In addition, the contamination of lubricating grease will also increase the temperature of the bearing. Dust will fall into the grease during the process of adding grease, which will cause grease pollution. Then the wear will increase during the operation, which will lead to the temperature rise, and the impurities will cause the grease inside the bearing box. Deterioration destroys bearing lubrication and temperature rises. Therefore, appropriate grease should be selected, the bearing box and bearings should be cleaned during maintenance, and the fueling pipeline should be checked and dredged. Different types of grease are not allowed to be mixed; if you change other types of grease, you should clean up the original grease; operation and maintenance Add grease regularly, and the grease should be properly kept for moisture and dust prevention measures.

5. Bearing overload

Before the machine is used, the bearing type should be selected according to the size of the load and the bearing type according to the direction of the load. It can be installed and used only when the type is suitable and can be used safely. If the selected bearing is not suitable, it cannot be normal if it is too large. If it is too small, there will be overload. Once it is overloaded, friction and wear will increase during use, which will cause injury, heating of the bearing, and even cracking and peeling. 6. Other reasons

In addition, if the clearance is too small, or the fit is too tight, the working clearance is too tight; the shafting design or installation is improper, causing the bearing to eccentrical load or abnormal load, which will easily cause the problem of heating of the turntable bearing.
