When mounting bearings, the following points should generally be observed:
1. Prepare tools: Some special tools are required for mounting bearings, such as inner and outer ring mounting tools, snap ring tools, gloves, dust covers, etc.
2. Inspect the bearings: Before assembling the bearings, it is necessary to check the inner and outer rings, rollers and cage for damage or foreign matter to ensure normal operation of the bearings.
3. Clean the parts: The parts to be fitted with the bearings are cleaned to remove dust, dirt and grease from the surface of the parts.
4. Mount the bearings: The bearings are placed on the outer ring tool to ensure the correct mounting sequence. The bearing is then mounted by applying downward pressure through the outer ring of the bearing.
5. Mount the cage: The bearing cage must be fitted using the snap ring tool. The cage is slowly expanded and then fitted onto the inner ring of the bearing.
6. Offset the bearing: Depending on the type of bearing, it may be necessary to adjust the offset during installation to ensure that the bearing operates correctly during operation.
7. Lubrication: After mounting, the bearings must be filled with oil or grease to ensure that they are well lubricated during operation.
8. Fit seals: Install seals around the bearings to protect them from dust, water, oil and other external substances.
